MD Jan Kučera, PhD. is a leading dermatologist and specialist in injectable fillers.

He graduated from the II. Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. He is a specialist in the field of dermatovenerology and is licensed by the Czech Medical Chamber to act as a leading dermatovenerologist. As an assistant professor he teaches dermatology at the I. Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, where he also taught anatomy. As an experimental surgeon, he was a member of the scientific team dealing with melanoma and skin fibroblasts, participated in a number of international studies and subsequently obtained his PhD. Interestingly, he also published with Professor Lehn, a Nobel Prize winner in chemistry. He has completed a number of international fellowships, both in Europe (Barcelona, Salzburg, Toulouse, Lübeck) and in developing countries (Ghana, Tunisia). He regularly publishes and lectures in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Currently, he is mainly involved in aesthetic dermatology, application of filler materials and neurotoxins, laser medicine and minimally invasive procedures.
